BERLIN STUDIO
Advanced Architectural Design Studio, The University of Pennsylvania School of Design
The Berlin Studio is a Research and Design Unit founded by Luis Feduchi during his term as Chair for Urban Design from 2006 to 2008 at the Technische Universität Berlin. The Berlin Studio continues to operate ever since independently as well as within the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, where Luis Feduchi is now Visiting Professor for Architecture and Urban Design. As a design studio, it deals with the present state of the city of Berlin. The studio critically reviews Berlins on-going strategies, explores and anticipates its potential transformations. In order to achieve this, the Berlin Studio has a very powerful research tool, the Berlin Studio e.V., a non-profit organization that organizes research oriented activities and publications.
