ELCOGAS VISITORS CENTER
Design and Construction of a Visitors Center for the Elcogas Power Station, Puertollano, Spain

Completion: August 1993 | Client: Elcogás S. A. | Contructor: Empty S.L. | Cost: 230.000 Euro | Surface: 210 qm | Collaborators: Adolfo Zanetti, Arturo López-Bachiller

By means of adding together twelve self-supporting modules usually employed as temporary construction site cabins, a small pavilion is built to welcome and inform visitors of a power plant. The pre-fab modules lose its temporary character through the redesigning of the exterior walls as well as the interior finishes. The building houses a permanent exhibition about the activities of the company.
